The BBQ Effect Headquarters are located in
Toronto, Canada.
We use Weber Smoky Mountain and Backwoods
Smokers. We use all natural charcoal and wood.
We do not use electric or gas smokers.
We make our own BBQ rubs. We drink only the
cheapest beer and we always eat Jimmy Dean
Breakfast sandwiches on the day of competition.
We try to cook the old fashioned way. Low and
Slow.
Team Membership is determined upon successful
completion of an arduous 15 km obstacle course,
a 25 hour written exam and a complete
background security check.
